Our premium grade Boswellia Serrata gum resin extract contains a high concentration of boswellic acids (pentacyclic triterpenic acids), the pharmacological active compounds of frankincense. Clinical studies have demonstrated the analgesic, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating effects of Boswellia serrata. The clinical researches of Professor H. Ammon (University of Tübingen/Germany) found out a variety of chronic inflammatory diseases which respond to treatment with boswellic acids.
